Episode 02-11-08 Part 1/2 Josh pronounces Natalia and Gus man and wife. They celebrate in the church with Rafe, Daisy, Bill, Lizzie, and Sarah. Meanwhile, at the Bauer cabin, Olivia pounds on the bathroom door, begging anyone to let her out. She panics because she only has one hour to respond to the heart donor alert. Back in the sanctuary, Gus and Natalia prepare to go to a Chicago hotel for their wedding night. Daisy wants to alleviate any concern about Rafe and herself. Gus trusts them, but Daisy assures Natalia that she will stay at her own house. Off to the side, Natalia reminds Rafe to let Olivia out of the bathroom at the cabin. d Just then, Gus receives a call from the hospital about Olivia's heart. When he hangs up, Gus seems concerned that Olivia hasn't answered the calls or pages about the heart. He worries that Olivia might be skipped over on the heart transplant list. Natalia admits that she locked Olivia in the Bauer cabin and explains why. Gus grabs Natalia's hand and they rush out of the church. At the Bauer cabin, Olivia huffs and sinks to the floor, vowing to return and haunt Natalia. Gus and Natalia arrive at the Bauer cabin. Natalia shamefully hands him the bathroom key and Gus finds Olivia on the bathroom floor. As Gus carries Olivia from the house, Olivia accuses Natalia with leaving her there to die. At the hospital, Olivia, Gus, and Natalia see the heart specialist. The doctor informs Olivia that her heart went to someone else. Olivia yells that the heart was hers. They can't just give it to someone else. As she breaks down, Gus asks to talk to the doctor. Natalia attempts to apologize to Olivia. Olivia silences Natalia, saying that Natalia got the ring and the guy; it only cost Olivia her life. Olivia hopes it was worth it. Olivia returns to her hotel room with Gus and Natalia behind her. When Olivia goes to the bathroom to freshen up, Natalia wonders if they should have made Olivia stay at the hospital. Gus seems annoyed at Natalia's concern for Olivia after what she did. Natalia claims that she didn't mean to hurt Olivia. Gus expressed anger over Natalia's mistrust of him. He's tired of telling Natalia that he is just Olivia's friend. Natalia knows that Gus means more to Olivia. Gus is appalled that Natalia locked Olivia in a bathroom. He finds it preposterous that Natalia thought Olivia could stop him from saying his vows. He blames himself. He thinks Natalia being with him makes her mean-nothing like the girl he knew. Natalia screams back that she isn't the girl he knew. She is who she is today, right now. She reminds him that it is their wedding night. Gus realizes that, but someone needs to stay with Olivia. Natalia suggests Ava or a nurse. Gus opens the door and tells Natalia to leave. He owes it to Olivia to stay. He feels that Natalia owes it to Olivia as well. Sobbing, Natalia returns to the church. Meanwhile, Olivia resurfaces from the bathroom to find Gus still there but Natalia gone. Olivia mentions that it's his honeymoon. Olivia knows Natalia probably thinks Olivia's celebrating. In truth, Olivia would love it if they got their honeymoon and she got her heart. Gus settles Olivia down on the sofa with a blanket, still encouraging her about the future. He tells her that she'll get whatever she wants. When Olivia repeats him, he adds, "within reason."
