Our Herd Of Turtles's video: Bake with Me How to Bake Sourdough Bread

When I filmed this video, I was right in the middle of a cold. Talking made me cough so I had to stay quiet. I hope you enjoy it without all my jabbering! Sourdough Bread: Mix with hands in a bowl until incorporated, the dough will be sticky: 1 cup starter 6 cups flour 1 tbsp salt 1/3 cup oil 2 cups warm water Once mixed, cover and let sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, stretch and fold the dough 4 times. Let sit for another 30 minutes. Stretch and fold 4 more times. Let the dough rest for 6-10 hours (or overnight) You can use this dough for lots of things - roll our for cinnamon rolls, shape into loaves, use for pizza dough, or rolls. For this video, I ended up making mine into loaves. After I shaped them into 2 loaves, I left them in the fridge and baked them the next day. To bake, I preheated the oven to 450 degrees. I dumped the loaf out of the bowl onto a sheet of parchment paper. I then scored the top with a razor blade and put the paper and loaf into a dutch oven. I put the lid on and baked it for 20 minutes.
