The first 8 minutes of this run could be up to 6 seconds faster. I lost 2 seconds in the parking facility of 4-1 from the game not having my cannon blasts hit the ground next to a set of mines sooner (screen shakes obnoxiously due to nearby vehicles exploding). I lost 4 seconds near the end of 5-1 by not opening a door properly. Even with that nonsense, this was a solid run, and much better than my personal best from 2017. Unsure whether I'll improve this again before my controllers arrive and I return to Super Metroid. Thanks for watching. Real time is the full length of the run, loading screens and all. SDA timing is the full length of the run minus the time that the game spends paused while creating/loading saves/stages. Basically, real time includes loads and SDA timing excludes loads (calculated to the best of my ability).
