Ov's video: F E A R Perseus Mandate Low difficulty in 45:41 44:00 SDA

Came up with a few new strategies since my previous personal best, perhaps the last strategic improvements this game will see for a while: * In Interval 3-2, I'm now using the Lightning Arc Weapon (LAW) against the Leviathan as opposed to the Rocket Launcher. After being struck by the 6 proxy mines throughout the stage, the Leviathan takes either 6 rocket volleys OR 8 lightning bolts to down - the latter being around 4 seconds faster to execute. In addition, I've started tossing 2 frag grenades at the Leviathan at the start of the hallway chase, as this appears to lower the lightning bolts needed by 1 (so 7 instead of 8), assuming said grenades land. (why it took me so long to realize the above, I'm not sure... at least I did eventually, right?) * Also in Interval 3-2, at 19:00, I found that it's possible to crouch slide across the gap as long as the player crouches down fully before performing the slide. This is totally consistent and only ~0.2s slower than crossing over immediately with a jump and precise scroll-wheel-crouch input, which is what I was attempting before. Although I didn't have much trouble with this, each miss would cost at least 2 seconds, so avoiding this possibility entirely at the cost of ~0.2s feels well worth it. * Due to the amount of LAW ammo expended in Interval 3-2, I've practiced variations in the event of low LAW ammo against relevant enemies in Intervals 4-1 and 7-2. This is a decent run overall. Lost a few seconds in 4-1, 6-1, 7-2, and 7-3 respectively. Real time is the full length of the run, loading screens and all. SDA timing is the full length of the run minus the time that the game spends paused while creating/loading saves/stages. Basically, real time includes loads and SDA timing excludes loads (calculated to the best of my ability). Because loads are a variable and will be different between runners due primarily to hardware, many people do not prioritize runs such as these by real time, but the choice is yours.
