Our weekend looked like a bust when we found our selves staring at a bad reservation at Jack Rabbit Mountain Campground in Nantahala National Forest. We quickly made new reservations at Unicoi just down the road and unknowingly went to Helen (just outside Unicoi) for Oktoberfest. The weather had finally cooled off and we eagerly awaited camping in the cooler air. Unicoi is by far the most favorite campground of many Georgians as was evident when we had to stay in Overflow Camping. At least we were down by the lake.
