You have probably heard about slowing down your eccentric part of the motion to put more stimulus and lengthen the muscle under the load but have you forcibly slowed down the entire motion? Don’t just go full "slow motion" and hold the weight on your joints. Put on a weight you can handle for 6-15 reps, get that mind to muscle connection working for you. So fuller the muscle is with the blood, the more pump you are going to feel. The more pump you are going to feel, the more mind to muscle connection you are going to have so pumping, exhausting muscles before your training, for example in the leg day, pump your hamstrings with lunges, hamstring curls, quad extensions and whatever else you feel the muscle the most.
