KAFA, which means “enough” in Arabic, is a feminist, secular, Lebanese, non-profit, non-governmental civil society organisation seeking to create a society that is free of social, economic and legal patriarchal structures that discriminate against women. According to a recent UN report on the Beirut blast, shelter provided after one loses their home often results in overcrowded conditions, thus raising other risks like sexual and gender based violence.
