PCORI's video: Part 6 - The Changing Role of Telehealth

@Part 6 - The Changing Role of Telehealth
Telehealth use has surged dramatically during the pandemic as clinicians use various platforms to consult with a wide variety of patients—those who may have COVID-19 as well as patients with other conditions. State and federal authorities have temporarily lifted many regulatory restrictions to telehealth even as public and private insurers have expanded reimbursement. Yet the rapid shifts have posed challenges even for systems that had previously created robust telehealth programs. In Part 6 of this PCORI-hosted webinar series, Confronting COVID-19: Finding Hospital Capacity and Improving Patient Flow, clinicians in charge of two such programs share lessons learned and discuss prospects for ongoing use and growth of telehealth after the current public health emergency.
