The reservoir held as much water as The Great Salt Lake in Utah. Water is rapidly flowing down the Dnieper river and flooding everything in sight. 80 towns have already been flooded. It provided water to Crimea and the cooling for a nuclear power plant. A nearby zoo was completely destroyed with all of the animals but the birds drowning. This is believed to have been done to stop and complicate Ukraine’s counteroffensive.
