@Dangun Feveron - Uotaro No-Miss ALL Clear 13,930,399 Pts
MEOW! - Dangun Feveron (弾銃フィーバロン) No Miss/No Death clear with the secret character Uotaro/Uo Poko the cat! Played on original PCB. 00:00 - Stage 1 02:01 - Stage 2 05:24 - Stage 3 08:36 - Stage 4 12:21 - Stage 5 15:45 - Final Boss 17:18 - True (Fake) Last Boss - What a joke, it's literally impossible to fight him for real with Uotaro since he can't bomb. To play as Uotaro, wait for the title screen then insert a coin and press enter ↓ ↑ → ← ↑ ↓ ← →. Note 1: You can create a "spread shot" with Uotaro if you have autofire on button 2. In effect, it quickly cycles through his 3 different shot types to create a kind of fan pattern. You can probably play the whole game with this but it's not ideal for scoring most of the time. I only use it in a few spots in this run, but when I was first starting I pretty much played with it exclusively. Note 2: I bind the ↓ direction to a specific button so I can use the "edge braking" technique to slow down Uotaro during certain situations. Mainly comes into play on boss fights, especially the final pattern of the Stage 5 boss. It forces you to stick to the bottom of the screen but also slows down your movement. Dangun Feveron is nuts, especially when played with Uotaro (or is it Uo Poko, i don't know?). If you thought speed level 4 was fast, think again, as this insane cat is literally twice as fast. It takes a long time to get adjusted to this speed, although when you do it's extremely fun as you can be everywhere and kill everything with ease. He also makes a MEOW sound with every direction input, so get used to that being the only thing you hear. To be honest this is the most physically taxing game I've ever played, as the number of inputs per second is extremely high. My left thumb would begin to fill up with lactic acid and fatigue, and it took a long time playing in order to build up to the point where I could play the entire game in one go without my thumb just failing on me. It sounds ridiculous, but I swear it's true. Maybe it's just because I'm getting old. This run was pretty solid for me, although still kinda sad I missed out on 14 mil. I have a lot more to say about this game and maybe one day I will make a commentary or something, who knows.
