PHAM's video: Canyon Spectral AL 6 0 2018: buying unboxing assembling

@Canyon Spectral AL 6.0 2018: buying, unboxing, assembling
Welcome to PHAM. In this video we’re unboxing Matzes new Canyon Spectral AL 6.0. Let me just say in advance: we’re complete bike mechanic noobs, so this video is supposed to show you how long it REALLY takes to build up a Canyon bike out of the box. And there it goes! Before you come to this moment though, you have to buy the bike. Canyon only sells their bikes online, you can visit their showroom in Koblenz, Germany though. There you can look at all those nice Canyon bikes, then get measured and find the perfectly fitting frame size. Afterwards take your chosen model for a test ride in the parking lot - not on their pumptrack next to the lot though! Then after ordering online and a bit of waiting you can finally unbox your new Canyon bike! Alright, up onto this point everything was relatively easy. Now we had to install the dropper post. The cabling is already done, you „just“ have to pull out the cable from the seat tube. However, the cables always got stuck when trying to push them up, so we took a thread and cut a stick from a nearby tree to get the cable out. Don’t ask. That took us approx. 45 minutes… The rest of the installation is pretty easy. Put in the front wheel, get the cockpit dialed, pump up fork and shock - the more precise sag and rebound settings we did separately afterwards - and screw in the pedals. And then you have it: your new Canyon Spectral AL 6.0 ready to ride after only about 90 minutes of assembly.
