This Mac and Cheese on the Bradley Smoker recipe is fantastic. My family absolutely loves this recipe. Smoked mac and cheese is one of those side dishes that goes with any barbecue. This macaroni and cheese is tasty and hardy. Your family and friends will love this recipe. It only takes a few hours to make and it will bring your backyard BBQ to a whole new level. this mac and cheese recipe can be made on an electric smoker or any smoker. Smoked Mac and Cheese Recipe Ingredients • 1 pound (16 ounces) elbow macaroni • 10 slices bacon, • 5 scallions, white and green parts chopped and separated • 4 TBSP butter • 4 TBS all-purpose flour • 4 cups cups milk • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper • 2 TBSP Killer Hog’s The BBQ Rub • 8 ounces Cheddar Cheese, grated • 8 ounces Colby Jack Cheese, grated 1. Preheat Smoker to 225 with Apple wood. Lightly grease an 8 x 11 x 2 baking dish. 2. Cook the pasta for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside. 3. In a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon until it is browned and crispy, about 10 minutes. 4. Sauté white part of onions in bacon grease 5. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Continue whisking while gradually adding the milk one cup at a time. Cook for until thickened about 5 minutes. Reduce heat and stir in salt, black pepper, and most of the cheese, reserving about a cup of cheese. Once the cheese has melted, remove from heat and stir in the green and white onions. 6. Mix crumbled bacon with 1 ½ cups Panko breadcrumbs. 7. Pour the pasta in the greased baking dish. Pour the cheese sauce over the pasta, stirring to even out the sauce in the pan. Sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese on top, then sprinkle the Killer Hog’s “The BBQ Rub” over the cheese. 8. Sprinkle Panko bread crumb/ Bacon mixture over top for crust. 9.
