PNP PIO's video: Chief PNP PGen Cascolan visit PRO 4A Oct 28 2020

PNP Chief, Police General Camilo Pancratius P Cascolan commended the entire force of Police Regional Office CALABARZON under the leadership of Police Brigadier General Vicente D Danao, Jr., in its effort to address threats on insurgency and armed conflict as well as its various anti-criminality achievements and public safety services during his Command Visit on October 28, at the Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim in Calamba City, Laguna. Highlight of the Command Visit was the presentation of surrenderees of Communist-Terrorist Groups, 35 of whom were from Red Areas, and 11 from White Areas along with the surrendered and confiscated assorted firearms under the efforts of the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC). “I am delighted that PRO4A has been achieving many gains to end the long-standing conflict between the Communists Terrorist Groups and the government forces through the conduct of counter-white area operations in collaboration with the Armed Forces of the Philippines,” PGen Cascolan said. Presented to the Chief was the crafted Camp Master Development Plan of PRO4A which showcases top-tier and eco-friendly camp that will cater to the needs of its clientele. He also inspected various on-going projects and quarantine facilities in the Regional Headquarters. Moreover, Police General Cascolan also checked the newly-procured Search and Rescue (SAR) equipment of the Regional Office citing the significance of having the necessary equipment and mobility to capacitate Search and Rescue Teams. “In the time of this season where typhoons and floods are prevalent, it is a must that we should be prepared not only with our human force but also on our equipment and facilities to aid immediately affected areas and communities during such incidents,” General Cascolan said. The PNP Chief together with PRO4A Regional Director conferred awards to outstanding PRO 4A personnel who immensely contributed to the achievements of PRO4A programs and activities on public safety and security operations and activities. Meanwhile, addressing the men and women of PRO4A, General Cascolan further reiterated his 9-Point Agenda during his ‘talk to men’ and praised their unending support and sacrifices to carry out all their duties and responsibilities as police officers. “To our PNP officers and personnel here in CALABARZON, continue in collaborating with communities and all concerned sectors in your respective areas of responsibility, encourage them to participate in our objective to have a safer community to live, work, and do business,” he said.
