On 26th November 2019, Professor Bruno Siciliano has received the "Pizza Science Award 2019" for having combined advanced robotics research with the Neapolitan art of making pizza. The award was presented during the the event at Palazzo Caracciolo in Naples to his daughter Chiara, freshman in Biomedical Engineering at University of Naples Federico II, while he thanked the Award Committee in a passionate video from the mytical Anfield Stadium in Liverpool.
