(C'mon, you knew this cover was inevitable!!) Actually, this performance was indeed almost left unseen, as I was unable to record some key parts to the song successfully at the end of school year scramble! And THAT would have been a shame, for as you can see here, the chorus really did a bang up job on some tricky harmonies, and soloist Timofe was nothing short of a revelation! His performance was right on point, served with the perfect blend of humor and straight up awesomeness!! BUT..... the 'Isabella' part was missing and crucial to putting the video together. Thankfully, my nieces (both going into 5th grade in the fall) came to the rescue on our family vacation!! They were singing the song, sounding awfully good, and it occurred to me, why not put 'em to work?! I was pretty sure they could pull it off, but I didn't know just how gorgeous the final outcome would be, and I'm just SO flippin' proud of them!!
