Ganpati Bappa Morya !! Namsate, over the last few days, we noticed puja flowers wrapped in plastic bags still being thrown in our waterbodies. We understand, its an age old practise but there is a better alternative. Please drop the nirmalaya flowers in the Nirmalya Kalash kept at Visarjan points, the government departments along with NGO's are getting together and recyling them to manure. Lets say if you dont have a nirmalya kalash in your city, create one or dig a pit in the ground and fill it with the nirmalya or puja offerings, this will recycle it to manure as well. With the last few days left of the festival, we went back and planned a second shoot with the lovely team of kids from "The Everything Else School", Takshila in Andheri East, Mumbai to help us take this message to the citizens.
