[Watch in HiDef 1080P] Shot June 8th, 2012. Amtrak Pacific Surfliners and Metrolink trains traverse the Metrolink Valley/Ventura Subdivision in Burbank and Moorpark, CA. Amtrak P42s are becoming quite a regular occurance on the Surfline. AMTK 135 recently made a couple of trips to San Diego as the 4th P42 to be put into Surfliner service as of June 1st which is seen in this video. The Southern California Surfliners are turning into the Northern California San Joaquins and Capital Corridors. Enjoy the video in 1080P HD! Train Info: Train : Metrolink Train 906 arrives into the Downtown Burbank station with two rotem cabcars with SCAX MP36PH-3C pushing. Train : Amtrak Train 784 runs past the Downtown Burbank station approaching Los Angeles with cabcar 6905 leading and its 3rd generation K5LA. AMTK P42DC pushes the train. Another new locomotive to the Surfliner service. Train : Amtrak Coast Starlight train number 11 slows for an approach signal as it passes Gabbert Road in Moorpark, CA. AMTK P42DC and AMTK P32-BWH lead the train south. Train : From the hillside, Amtrak train 796 heads south with two superliners. AMTK F59PHI pushes southbound. Train : The Friday southbound Guadalupe, CA Union Pacific local heads southbound with UP SD60M leading the way with a less than stellar P3 horn. Train : Shot with my iPhone, Amtrak train 785 heads north with yet another P42 leading the way.
