Page Flip's video: Iphone 6s Plus Slow Motion Test ProMovie Diana s Bath NH

@Iphone 6s Plus Slow Motion Test (ProMovie) Diana's Bath NH
I went on a trip to New Hampshire recently, and while we were passing through Diana's Bath I decided to stop and take some slow motion footage of the rapids. Filming on an iPhone is very interesting in that the sensor quality is incredible, but because the iris is fixed you need to find proper shading in order to get the best video quality, assuming you want your footage to look cinematic (24fps shutter of 50, etc.). Otherwise you can just crank up the shutter. This means your iso is your best way of maintaining exposure, and if your in sunlight your gonna have that as low as possible. You'll notice a few shots in this reel that are very over exposed, and that's precisely the reason. It's also hard to check the iPhone's tiny screen for exposure in hard sunlight as well. That being said shooting in slow motion during the day is WAY easier, just because your shutter is so high already, although it doesn't completely remedy the issue. I cut around it in the reel, but due to the on the fly nature of this shoot I left the focus settings to auto focus, and in slow motion one quick focus change looks really obnoxious, so be aware of that if you're trying this out for the first time. Otherwise, enjoy the trippy music and pretty water splooshies.
