Developed by Looking Glass Studios in 1998, Thief: The Dark Project became an instant classic. Yet, over time, its influence began to wane in the genre it helped create, instead becoming an inspiration for non-stealth games, such as Penumbra, Amnesia and SOMA. Music used: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided OST Skyrim OST Timesplitters 2 OST S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl OST Video sources: Dishonored Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Thief: Gold Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition
