🙏 Jai bhole ki 🙏 . Located at a distance of 110 kms from Mumbai on the Manor- Palghar road off the Mumbai- Ahmedabad national highway. Starting base is the Waghoba temple. A small store sells water, biscuits, snacks and soft drinks. Plenty of monkeys around so take care of your belongings. A gradual climb through dense forest on a well trodden route. Carry minimum 2 litres of water and some foodstuff as no water sources are there enroute. Altitude of the fort is 475 metres above sea level and the total distance to and fro from the base is about 7.5 kms. Last 20 minutes of trek just before reaching the summit is steep and slippery in some places. Indicaters are present on the way to guide trekkers. You can reach the top by walking at an easy pace within 90 minutes. A small rectangular shaped summit. It was used as a watch tower offering a wide view of the surrounding areas. Two water tanks are present on the fort but the water is unsuitable for consumption. A rock pinnacle just before the summit can be accessed by taking a small detour from the trek route.
