An early morning visit to Calca Mercado Modelo was a perfect start for our 6th day in Peru. Our next stop was Ankasmarka archaeological site which offered us breathtaking sights, only to be topped by a spectacular drive to Lares/Cuncani with sublime views. Along the way we practiced Ayni, an Andean custom where we expressed our appreciation to locals. The afternoon was spent with another awesome hike from Cuncani to Huacahuasi, where we retired for the evening.
