Review of the Fiskars PRO chopping axe that I had for 10 years. Felling a tree, limbing, sharpening. Advice on how to pick a size. The Fiskars PRO or an equivalent size, is not always available. The fiskars quality of this axe is the same as with the X7, X11 etc. Difference between a tree axe and a splitting axe. How to become a handsome lumberjack! My take on this size is that most people would be happier with a smaller one. Only if you fell a tree is there a big advantage, there is a downside: it is unwieldy in one hand.
