If your client requires adaptation to seated exercise than they are likely in need of stable and simple functional exercises. These should match their current skillset and help them perform optimally in life with better Agility, balance and Coordination. Here are 5 simple exercises that can be performed seated: 1. Jam Jar Open and Close - Great for grip strength, coordination and dexterity. 2. Pen lid on and off - This task is about accuracy of small movements and dexterity. 3. Reel It in - Using a pipe (or wooden spoon) and a there band (or tie) wrap the band around the pipe and "reel it in". This is great for forearm and wrist strength, as well as coordination of both hands moving 4. Towel fold up - it may sound simple but daily tasks like folding a towel is a great way to work hand -eye coordination. 5. Towel walking - grab the towel with one hand and then grab the other hand just underneath. repeat as if walking the hands down the towel. great for grip and coordination.
