Let’s explore the 4 Quadricep MusclesÂ
There are 3 Vasti Muscles:Â
Vastus Medialis
Vastus Lateralis
Vastus Intermedialis
These all originate on the Femroial Head and Insert on the Tobial plateau via the Patella Tendon.Â
The Rectus Femoris is the 4th muscle and sits over the top of the vasti muscles.
It crosses two joints, the Knee and the Hip. It inserts in the sam patellar tendon, but originates on the AIIS (Anterior Inferior Iliac Spine) of the pelvis.Â
A lot of FITPROs get stuck when learning the origins and insertions of all muscles for their exam.
You need to know 37 muscles for your level 2 anatomy exam and 50 for your level 3 anatomy exam.
You need to learn the location, the name, and the origin and insertion of each muscle.
Using clear imagery, simplified descriptions and structured flashcards you can learn the muscles with ease, and pass with confidence.Â
You can Learn, Revise & Remember All Muscles In Your Fitness Anatomy & Physiology Exam, (and the BEST part...You can do all this in as little as 5-minutes a day)
DM me with the word MUSCLES to see how we can help you remember the muscles with ease, and pass with confidence.Â
