National Farmers Federation Economics and Farm Business Committee Chairman Wayne Dunford says with development starting to happen with Pacific National and others already in Parkes, it gives us the ability as farmers to look at alternatives at what way we might market our products. The Inland Rail runs up the middle of the eastern Australian wheat belt. The Inland Port at Parkes will open up a hell of a lot of opportunities, more than we’ve ever dreamt of probably. I think with logistics hub in Parkes and being so central, the opportunities are pretty endless, to be honest.
