ParkesShireCouncil's video: The Art of Resilience Video

The Art of Resilience Project was designed to give the youth of the Parkes Shire a voice, an opportunity to display their creative talents and a mechanism to assist them in coping with the difficulties they have been and still are facing, in the form of drought, bushfires and Covid 19. This project championed the youth of the Parkes Shire, mentored creativity, started conversations around drought and resilience and allowed a diverse range of people across the Parkes Shire to get involved. This fabulous initiative highlighted the importance of the Arts in well-being and mental health and provided new and exciting experiences for the youth of Parkes Shire.
