Parkes Shire Council's Economic and Business Development Manager Anna Wyllie says Council set aside the land for the Parkes National Logistics Hub over 10 years ago which means we’ve got very good buffer zones in place which means no urban encroachment. We have 2 fantastic anchor tenants being SCT Logistics and Pacific National, We have federal government investment of 8.4 billion dollars that’s coming through with Inland Rail. Parkes is at the crossroads of the nation. We’re very fortunate about our logistics location. We are strategically placed at the mid point between Brisbane and Melbourne Can it get any more central than that?
