Parmenides of YouTubes's video: Philosophical Flaws in Marxist Materialist Ideology Part 2 Ideology Hegel What Is Idealism

@Philosophical Flaws in Marxist (Materialist) Ideology | Part 2 | Ideology, Hegel, What Is Idealism?
Some of this video will repeat some of the points in the first video. I recommend watching these videos in order because the clarification I added in the first video might be missing in this video. The first video (Part 1): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHJZi2OCOKs For the simple point of this video: Hegel did not see idealists vs. realists as having significance. There was a reason behind why idealism was the basis of philosophy and specifically for Hegel. That was to avoid the assumption of an independently existing material world (or assuming something that doesn't exist in order to prove or revolve around its existence) and focus on how humans actually understand and relate to the world. This was a core part of Hegel's criticism of what Kant was doing. *side note-you can also look at Hegel's view of Spinoza and Leibniz and how his work connects, but that is not done in this video* Logic can be viewed as dealing with the laws that govern thought and reasoning. So, the Science of Logic (SoL) would be the knowledge of those laws; thus, an explanation/theory of the functioning of human thinking and reasoning at a fundamental level. That is what Hegel dealt with in SoL and is what Marx pulled from Hegel in order to develop his critique of political economy, for example. It is what helped him see (or more properly articulate) his objections to what was missing in the political economy before him. This same basis of idealism is necessary for understanding how ideology functions and how human beings relate to and understand the material world and "objectivity" and/or "facts" about the material world. The mistake in Marxism is re-introducing the significance between idealism and realism (or materialism), thus opening the can of worms of assuming an independently existing material world and creating a new ideology centered around assumptions and philosophical errors, not centered around the critique of ideology, i.e., what Marxism became.
