This Sree Sita Ramachandra swamy temple is located at Bhadrachalam ( KHAMMAM DIST ), Andhra pradesh, India, on the river banks of Godavari also known Goutami " . Kancharla Gopanna known as Bhakta Ramadas ( 17th century ) built this temple, who composed a number of keertanas ( songs ) in telugu language on Sree Rama. Parnasala ( Hermitage ) is 25 kms from Bhadrachalam, where Rama stayed during his Vanavasam (exile). It is believed that Rama crossed Godavari at north of bhadrachalam, to rescue sita, on his way to Sri lanka.It is a tourist place for devotees.Every year on 'sudhs chaitra navami' , which is Sri Ram's Birth day as well as His marriage day, devotees flock to this temple to get blessings of Lord Rama.
