I had a terrifyling encounter with a deer three days before a scheduled performance of Liszt's Totentanz with the Black Hills Symphony. My car was totaled, deer killed, and the only injury I sustained was a fractured fourth finger on my left hand. I was able to refinger all of the difficult passages that required the fourth finger replacing them with five. Here's the result!
