Here's a read/write comparison of the Corsair SSD 240 Neutron GTX SATA3, internal 5400 rpm SATA drive and an external USB 3.0 drive. I do want to point out that the USB 3.0 external drive was connected to a USB 2.0 port so that hinders the speed by a lot. Again I apologize my coughs. I'm still getting over a cold.
