Penguin Recordings's video: Unboxing the BlackMagic Design Intensity Pro 4k For Ubuntu Linux

@Unboxing the BlackMagic Design Intensity Pro 4k For Ubuntu Linux
In this video, I go over some of the new hardware I've purchased to go along with the Intensity Pro 4k and I unbox the Intensity Pro 4k as well. With this capture card, this should hopefully mean that any future recordings I do of gameplays on Ubuntu should not have their performance be affected unlike when I record via software (e.g. SSR/Kazam/OBS). This should also mean that I can capture my benchmark videos without worrying that I'll be affecting the game's performance, so no more low-quality camera recordings. I intend to use this card for capturing my main desktop, whilst simultaneously using my main desktop. This is the reason I needed the HDMI splitter. The HDMI output on the Intensity Pro 4k does not output anything except when the software is on and using the card. The output quality from the HDMI port is also not as good in terms of color, which the splitter helps overcome with ease. If you're looking to get one of these cards for Linux desktop capturing, please take note of a couple of things: 1. You will need a powered HDMI splitter. 2. You will need a free PCIe x4 slot on your motherboard (or x6/x8/x16) 3. Media Express, the default capturing program, outputs a video file format that requires a lot of space and high speed drives. You are better off using an SSD for capturing rather than a normal HDD. Purchased through a Korean reseller who call themselves New York Mania. It was shipped via ecargo, a Korean logistics company.
