Penguin Recordings's video: Magicka 2 Gameplay on Ubuntu 15 10 Linux Native

Magicka 2 for Linux has come! It's still in Beta though right now. I'm running Magicka 2 at maxed settings, but the screen recording does not do the game's performance justice! Please note that Magicka 2 really does not play well with screen recorders. Unlike other games where I tend to lose 20 to 30 fps at most, here I lose 50 to 60fps sometimes even more due to recording. Despite the developers stating that AMD graphics users should experience a lower framerate, I've been experiencing a very high fps count outside of screen recording. It usually lingers between 100fps to 150fps, and drops to 60fps when things get hectic. Stating it simply, I'm impressed with this port. Framerates are above and beyond great, loading times are insanely short, graphical options are in abundance and there have been no crashes so far. I used the open source Mesa 11.1 driver (RadeonSI) here. LLVM 3.8 with Kernel 4.2 for those who must know. With my fps at 100+, it should then make sense that Nvidia users with a comparable card or greater would experience a much higher framerate!
