Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA)'s video: Art At Noon: Making American Artists American Museums

@Art At Noon: Making American Artists & American Museums
Dr. Anna Marley and Dr. Brittany Webb are the curators of PAFA's current exhibitions "Making American Artists: Stories from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 1776–1976" and "Gift/Deeds: Collectors at PAFA." Dr. Marley and Dr. Webb discuss the two groundbreaking exhibitions, featuring over 200 works of art that span three centuries, provide audiences with a close look at how PAFA’s permanent collection was formed through generative relationships with artists and collectors, and champion their role in the making of the museum. Art At Noon lectures are supported by the Behrend Family in memory of Rose Susan Hirschhorn Behrend, a former docent at the Academy and great supporter of its education programs.
