Perfect Little Planet's video: Hiking Diamond Head Oahu Hawaii

This is our first time hiking a volcano and it was awesome! Fun hike, great view, and so easy to get to on public transportation from Waikiki and Honolulu. Diamond Head towers over Waikiki on the south side of Oahu. It's only a 6-minute drive from Waikiki Beach hotels, or 20 minutes from downtown Honolulu where we were staying. If you drive in, get there early because there is not much parking available. The parking lot usually fills up by 7am. We suggest taking the bus and walking up. You can catch bus 2 from downtown or Waikiki and get off at the base of the mountain at Kapiʻolani Community College. The walk up to the ticket booth is only about 15-20 minutes, with nice views along the way. If you have any other questions, ask us in the comments below.
