Passing a favela neighborhood i recieved a short insight in this fascinating and spontaneous developing citypart. This area seems surreal, clothes are hangig out of the windows, kids are jumping from one roof to the other and , how the huts are stacked on eachother like an imperfect bee nest. Ariving the road along the lagoa left me Speechless. The view over the water leading to the horizon wherr the twin-brother mountain raises to the sky. A wonderful picture that already confirms the "wonderful Rio" everybody is talking about. I could not wait to jump in to the water, off to the Ipanema Beach. Laying in the sand enjoying the view along the skyscrapers by the beach a light dust on the horizon is an experience i will always keep in remembrance. People playing football, surfers catching the breaking waves, sellers screaming out their offers and of cours the beautiful "brasileiras" are makeing this place truly perfect. Get up to the Christ or the Sugarloaf mountain to get a view over the fascinating citystructures with its mix of favelas going up the mountains, familyhouses and skyscrapers side by side. Rio de Janeiro is ridiculously beautiful.
