Using the iPhone as gestural controller for real-time moving through a waveform. app loaded on the iphone provides the handtracking and midi conversion and sends the data over bluetooth to the iPad loaded with granular app . The x-position of the hand is mapped to the position of the playhead while the hand opening is mapped to grain sample length and the distance to the camera is mapped to grain density.
