On today's episode I review the florel brand growth regulator on my maple tree, plum trees and redbud tree. Seed bods have become a sore spot in my life. I want to prevent trees from making pods and stop tree seeding from growing. But how to stop tree pods and eliminate tree fruit? Eliminating tree seeds and eliminating tree pods can be very difficult. Thanks to florel brand growth regulator its easier than it has been. The active ingredient ethephon helps the tree produce a nature hormone called ethylene. The ethylene stresses out the tree blooms and the tree drops the blooms. I found the efficacy rate for my maple trees was about 50% to 60% and the plum trees were about 70% in dropping the blooms preventing nuisance fruit. I was very pleased with my results. The label is a little deceiving as it says "eliminates undesirable fruit". I found that it did indeed drop down the number of less desirable fruit but it failed to eliminate it. That would be my only issue with the product. I didn't experience any off target issues on other plants and the product was easy to apply.
