Pete Midi's video: Syntakt: are 12 tracks enough Talk Jam

@Syntakt: are 12 tracks enough? Talk & Jam
Elektron Syntakt for me has been the most plausible upgrade from model cycles. It improves my favorite drum machine in nearly all aspects while retaining the compact format. Syntakt now is more than just a drum machine, but are 12 non-polyphonic tracks enough to make it a stand-alone workstation for dawless pleasure? There will be no general answer but in this video I present some specific arguments and a midi performance feature that I find rather important in this context. The second part of the video shows my 12 tracks demo jam recorded directly from the Syntakt stereo out using my good old Tascam DR-2d. 00:00 Preview 00:11 Intro: 12 tracks challenge 02:27 Feature: Midi Modulations 03:44 Jam: Berlin School in a box 03:49 Track 3: SY BITS 04:09 Track 2: SD VINTAGE 04:25 Track 6: SY CHORD 04:40 Track 10: SY DUAL VCO 05:51 Track 4: SY TOY 06:18 Track 1: SY TONE 07:28 Track 12: CY RIDE 07:44 Track 11: SD CLASSIC 07:58 Track 9: BD HARD 08:44 Track 8: SY TONE 08:52 Track 7: SY BITS 09:02 Track 5: SY TONE 11:46 Mixing notes 12:43 Modulation notes
