Between 1935 and 1937 dancer Lou Duthers toured with Jean and Joan Carroll, sometimes billed as the Carroll Sisters. Their vaudeville act played movie houses. Duthers had previously toured with Billy Reed, Jack Thompson and Gertrude McDonald. He and Billy Reed played minor roles in the 1929 Cole Porter show “Fifty Million Frenchmen.” With Billy Reed he appeared in a Vitaphone musical short in 1930 entitled “Office Steps.”
