Peter Roberts's video: Single Leg Glute Bridge Assessment and Progressions

@Single Leg Glute Bridge Assessment and Progressions
The single leg glute bridge in a nice, simple assessment that you can use to check on your hip stability side to side. It's also an exercise that can be used - with proper progressions - to help fix weaknesses in hip stability. And finally, it can also be used as a warm-up/activation drill to enhance hip stability prior to activity. Today I'll show you exactly what to look for when using this drill as an assessment. Then I'll break down ways to modify the exercise if you're having trouble maintaining perfect form. If you're still having trouble with the scaled back versions of the single leg glute bridge then you'll need a new starting point. I'll try to do another video on this, but you could try any of these drills and see if you get the right effect: -Isometric Glute Wall March https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQQndXRk6WE -Glute Kick Back (pay attention to the details here) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-QQJKuKkrM -Double leg glute bridge with extra focus on your weaker side, if you have one.
