Phil Clarke's video: Double E E legends TRACTOR chases DELTIC on the WCML 55009 37116 Hartford 30th March 2023

Two great vintage English Electric loco classes follow each other up the West Coast Mainline!!! Class 37 'tractor', 37119, arrives first on the slow line at Hartford Junction , but is held for 33 minutes to allow a couple of pendolinos to pass . With class 55 Deltic 55009 approaching, it was a guessing game which would arrive first. The mighty Deltic won and is seen passing the slower tractor, in the distance, and passing through the station, with 57012 tagging along behind. Straight after the Colas liveried 37 gives chase, but is briefly bowled by an inconsiderate north bound pendolino! The Deltic was returning to Barrowhill from Carnforth after doing successfull test runs over Shap. Hartford, 30th March 2023
