Phil6219's video: 20107 20096 at Bamfurlong - 22nd December 2020

Well, this was an unexpected working, Green Choppers 20107 & 20096 (D8107 & D8096) head through Bamfurlong on a light engine run from Crewe to Carlisle on Tuesday 22nd December 2020. The Class 20s, or should I say English Electric Type One's were looking excellent in their British Railways Green livery. As expected there wasn't much by way of thrash as the two old girls were hardly breaking a sweat however we still get to appreciate the chibble as they roll on past. We've had 20107 pass through here a couple of times this year, including an ultra rare shot of it running nose first. This is the first time I've seen 20096 in six years, when it was at the Derby Etches Park Depot open day in BR Blue along with 20107 - not to be one of those who wibble's over paint but, I definitely preferred the BR Blue ;) I honestly don't know what the plan is but I'm certainly looking forward to trying to catch their return working ;) The official working was; 0Z46 Crewe H.S to Carlisle High Wapping Sdgs Thanks for watching and subscribe to see more rail videos coming soon.
