Pianist Michiel Roosen's video: Enya Roosen - May It Be from Lord Of The Rings

Enya’s muziek fascineert me al velen jaren. Dus het was nodig tijd eens een mooie pianobewerking te maken van 1 van haar prachtige nummers! Dit nummer is vooral bekend geworden doordat het de soundtrack is van Lord of The Rings. Het nummer is in tegenstelling tot de velen andere tracks, gecomponeerd door Enya zelf, en niet door Howard Shore. De uitdaging bij dit nummer is de lange tonen die te horen zijn, hoe doe je dat met piano waarbij de noten veel korter zijn? Nou, dit heb ik ervan gemaakt ;-) — Enya’s music has fascinated me for many years now…So it was time to making a nice piano composition of one of her greatest hits: ‘May It Be’. This is also one of the tracks from the Lord Of The Ring Soundtrack which is composed and sung by Enya. The challenge of making a piano version of this track, are the long notes which are played by the strings and voices.
