| 1st Place at DeLand High Social Studies Fair on January 24th | | 2nd Place at 39th Annual Volusia County Fair on Februrary 25th | When Joel Christian, a senior at South Richardton High School, is bullied for being Muslim/Arabic and suddenly winds up murdered, something is wrong. The aftermath of 9/11 has crippled America in various forms, one of the biggest today are the social effects. Muslims are bullied, hated and casted out of society. But, Joel Christian isn't even Muslim, furthering the racial discrimination against him. Although Hispanic, those around him view him as a terrorist to society, and aim to take him out in the blink of an eye. Who killed him? Why? And, how???
