What is the best way to enjoy Southeast Asia? EAT EVERYTING. The whole purpose of this trip was to try as many delicious foods as we can. We tried to go for anything we didn't know- as long as it was vegetarian for me, I ate it(which is very easily to find in SE Asian, bless). I was more adventurous and tried a bunch of drinks while Carrie stayed on the safe side. But really, anything that looked delicious was going into our bellies. This was our first time in Malaysia, we spent two days in Kuala Lumpur and two days in Penang. KL has a bigger city vibe, busy streets, fun activities and amazing architecture. A must go are the night markets. The scent, the crowds, the food you'll see. Don't forget to get a cheap foot massage; they have free wifi there! Luckily we can speak Chinese and English so ordering wasn't complicated.. deciding what to eat was. Getting around in Malaysia was super convenient with Grab.. except when the driver couldn't find us.. drove us to the wrong station and we missed our train to Penang. But that was partly our fault. Even though we spent so little time in KL to truly appreciate its beauty, I give it a 8.5/10. Totally worth visiting. The food, the nature and the people are so nice.
