Naganeupseong walled town, one of the only remaining villages of its time that still standing strong in Suncheon. Over 600 years ago, this village was home to around 200 households. It's been through the rise and fall of kingdoms, wars and current modernization, yet this village is still standing strong. Present time, more than two hundred people inhabit this area. It's a cultural capsule with an incredible history and beautiful views.Walking through the town is an experience you'll never have elsewhere. You can learn about the Joseon Dynasty and take a deep look into their culture and traditions here in the town. The houses are well preserved and look like its pulled out straight from a historical drama. It's far out in the mountains and rural side of the city Suncheon but definitely worth a visit. Not many visitors come during the day, plus there are many many many spots for good instagram pictures. You could literally spend all day here. There are even programs you can take like weaving, writing a will, traditional wedding, natural dyeing, woodblock printing, making tofu etc. And performances like gayageum(traditional Korean music) and tea ceremony. If you're lucky, a kdrama might even be shooting!
