PLEASE READ MEEEEEEEEE One of the very few places in Korea where there's so much land set aside for nature, animals and your leisure. Alpaca World located in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do is an outdoor zoo in the mountains for animal lovers. You can interact with the animals and feed them. I had so much fun here despite the rain. Think of what it would be like if you came on a sunny day! There's also nature healing walks where you can take the alpacas on a walk. Side note, if you can and are lucky to come when it's not raining, the alpacas are nicely washed and blown out- they look super cute in pictures. This place is still fairly new and not many people have visited this place. It's also quite far out in the mountains. But I highly recommend this place for travellers who like adventures and nature! ***UPDATE: The bus route (number 3) has stopped its service but there is an alternative public transportation you can take.*** 1. Take the intercity bus to Hongcheon Bus Terminal. 2. From there, you can take a city bus labelled as "덕밭재.풍천" which is a "Hongcheon Bus Terminal" bus loop that goes up to Alpaca World. 3. First bus is at 6:20am, last bus runs at 4:10pm. The service interval is 210 minutes. You can check the buses currently running here: shorturl.at/hkTXZ 4.
