PistachiOld's video: BAREFOOT MARATHON FESTIVAL: Daejeon Edition FAT TIME KOREA 2

Have you ever walked a mountain barefoot? My friend and I entered a barefoot marathon in Daejeon, South Korea. We hiked 13 km around the mountain with no shoes! Walking barefoot has many health benefits, especially when it's on a clay road! All in all, it was a pretty wild but fun experience. Daejeon also has tons of fun attractions and great for shopping! Remember to subscribe! 1K subscribers and I'll do a Q&A~~ Funny story, I actually asked more friends to join us but after they heard about my cult experience the year before they were reluctant to join. Something about hiking on a mountain in Daejeon is too scary... AHAHAHA NOT THIS TIME! More information about the marathon: We applied to the marathon online about a month before(the marathon was in early May). When we arrived, we were overly excited and jumped right onto the clay trail without realizing what was going on. You have to hike about 500m up the base before you see all the tents. From there, you can pick up your bib, put your shoes and belongings away, and send yourself a postcard! Then after another 1km walk up the mountain, the race actually begins! I was surprised by the number of people present. I assumed most Koreans(like the ones I asked) thought this was an insane idea. There were also people who didn't apply for the race, they were just doing their normal everyday hike- like the old man who joined us. So if you're not into collecting medals and whatnot, you can climb this mountain any day of the year.
