We hung out all day at the fantasy land of Jiufen and Shifen, a pleasant way to end the summer trip abroad. From tea house to maze-like streets we find tangible treasures and treasures only to be admired whilst roasting under the scorching hot sunlight. It was like jumping right into a studio Ghibli movie! The tour we join by Klook drove us to Jiufen where we had 2 hours of free time to explore. Afterwards, an hour at the gorgeous waterfall in Shifen. Lastly, another hour at the train tracks where we released sky lanterns. Our guide is the sweetest lady and it was so much fun having her bring us to all these places. For only $20~ CAD per person, it was the better option with less hassle to travel to three locations in one day. Though if you'd like, you can stay at one location and find your own transportation home. Highly recommend the tour if you'd like to see more in less time!
